Event: #TeamHerts
On the 20th September Jane and Alice attended a really positive #TeamHerts Volunteers’ Event at Ware Priory.
About the Event
Fourteen other charities were represented at the event and lots of people turned up.
We hoped to attract some new blood to join our team of volunteers, which is growing and changing as we recruit to some newly created volunteer roles.
We were pleased with how the event went. We gave away a load of our pens and other handouts and talked to prospective volunteers.
We discussed a range of volunteer roles including Enter and View, Community Ambassadors, and Engagement with interested prospective volunteers.
We hope to see some of them at the next Volunteer Induction Session on the 24th October – next Tuesday!
We’re hoping to attend another #TeamHerts Event. Hopefully we’ll see you there!
