Want to be a Patient Safety Partner?
The Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is recruiting Patient Safety Partners who will work alongside staff to influence and improve safety within the local health and care system. Patient Safety Partners can be patients, carers, family members, or other members of the public (including NHS staff from another organisation).
This is a great opportunity to share your interests, experiences and skills. Some examples of how you might be involved include:
- Supporting the safety training of staff
- Being part of project teams working to improve safe care
- Joining quality and safety related meetings and committees
- Helping develop patient safety information resources
- Being involved in the implementation of the new Patient Safety Incident Response Framework and supporting learning from incidents
Flexibility in working hours is offered, as well as a full induction programme and ongoing support and training.
