The End of Life Steering Group for the Hertfordshire and West Essex STP wants to understand the current provision of bereavement services available to communities across Hertfordshire and West Essex in order to identify gaps in service provision.

About the research

The following text has been taken from the Herts & West Essex Sustainability Transformation Partnership’s (STP) survey aimed at providers of bereavement services or those who signpost to these services:

The End of Life Steering Group for the Hertfordshire and West Essex STP is keen to understand the current provision of bereavement services available to local communities across Hertfordshire and West Essex in order to identify where there are gaps in services.

• We’d be grateful if you could ensure the most appropriate person in your organisation answers a few simple questions about any bereavement services you currently offer, or are shortly planning to offer.

• It is also important to know if your organisation doesn’t offer any bereavement services, so please do complete this whether you provide bereavement services or not.

• Please also share this survey far and wide in your area to providers of bereavement services in Hertfordshire or West Essex. This includes GP surgeries, faith community leaders, the voluntary sector and others. We are keen to get a good picture of bereavement services across the area.
